Garnet Perfume Oil Concentrate Mini Rollie with Gemstones by Sage

It’s earthy, slightly sweet and utterly mesmerizing.

It was a hot summer Friday night in New York City about 15 years ago. I was meeting you at 6:30 for dinner at our favorite tapas restaurant in Greenwich Village and I had time to kill. I went to C.O. Bigelow which was part old world apothecary and part modern boutique. One of a handful of cool places to look for niche perfumes before the word niche became a watered down, overused, household name. I found myself enamored with these little perfume bottles filled with oils akin to magical elixirs. Each scent had the name of a gemstone and was packaged in the most beautiful little cardboard boxes. @thesagelifestyle was calling to me. I sniffed Garnet and rolled the oil up and down my arms and behind my ears. Something extraordinary was happening. All during dinner, we were both commenting how good I smelled. I couldn’t concentrate. I needed a bottle before the store closed. I went back right before heading home, now full of many glasses of red wine and not only bought Garnet, but Onyx & Pearl too.
